Description:
Adaptive Resourcing was engaged by the board to source and assess a new CEO. The process was tied to a set of leadership competencies agreed with the board. These competencies were central to the advertising and marketing of the role and were applied to all stages of candidate assessment from initial screening to psychometric assessment by an organisational psychologist and final reference checks. A process timeline of 6 weeks was agreed at the start of the engagement and adhered to.
From 126 candidates considered, a large shortlist of 6 was interviewed by the client. Two candidates were assessed by the psychologist and following a debrief with the board an offer was made and accepted. The appointed CEO has been in this role for 6 years and has delivered on the board’s expectations.
